Phillips Landscape Contractors was founded in 1992.
Currently, we have 24 full time employees who are professionally uniformed and trained in the landscaping crafts they perform. We have ongoing training for all employees with topics
such as safety, equipment usage, new state of the art landscape and hardscape product introductions and advanced installation procedures.
We are members of the Landscape Contractors Association, fully licensed and insured landscape company,located in Northern Montgomery County, Maryland. We carry general liability and property damage with a $1,000,000 per occurrence limit and workers compensation insurance with a $100,000 per occurrence limit. We carry automobile liability with a combined single limit per occurrence of $1,000,000. We are licensed by the State of Maryland’s Home Improvement Commission. Our MHIC # is 48845.
Phillips Landscape Contractors is certified with I.C.P.I. (Interlocking Concrete Pavement Institute.), S.R.W. certified (Segment Retaining Wall) and authorized installers for Belgard & E.P. Henry product lines. In addition, we are A.S.T.I. Master Installers, (American Synthetic Turf Institute), and CAST, low voltage, outdoor lighting certified installers.
Phillips Landscape Contractors focus is on designing and installing a wide variety of landscape elements with emphasis on paver walkways, patios, driveways and retaining walls. These hardscape elements combined with top quality plant material and nighttime illumination will create an exceptional outdoor living environment to be enjoyed by your family for generations. We offer industry leading warranties on all product lines.
The Green Builders, a division of PLC is a Premium, sand-filled synthetic turf installer focusing mainly on putting greens. We have installed well over 150 uniquely designed greens in the Washington Metro area as well as out of State and abroad. Please contact our office for further information.

Jose Bonilla, has over five years experience in landscaping. He and his crew, we call "The Plant Team", install plants, sod, perform grading and drainage. The quality of their work provides the aesthetic value you deserve. Jose also enjoys playing soccer in his free time. |

Ronald "Ronnie" Newman, is the newest member of our team. His background enables him to troubleshoot water features, layout plant designs, take on special projects and provide customer service. Ronnie is married and enjoys NASCAR. |

Heather Wilson, is our office manager. Heather has three years of experience in office management. Heather is exceptionally competent in customer service with above average computer skills. This ensures timely proposals and accurate involving. Heather enjoys playing volleyball. |

Scott Saylor is a W.V.U. graduate and is our Director of Operations. The experience he obtained while operating his own landscape construction company for 14 years, along with the five years with PLC, ensures your project runs smoothly from start to finish. Scott is married with two children and enjoys hunting and fishing. |

Thomas Phillips graduated from Lycomg College. He was the Estimator and Project Engineer at Donohoe Construction, Director of Operations for Sheridan Gardens, and completed the Graduate Program Landscape Design at George Washington University. Phillips then started Phillips Landscape Management Inc. in 1992. |
